Birmingham Hippodrome

Birmingham Hippodrome hosts the best in international dance, musicals and drama and is also home toBirmingham Royal Ballet and the English home of Welsh National Opera. As well as presenting major West End productions and leading performers, the theatre also plays host to Britain’s biggest Pantomime.


In 2010/11, ten years since its award-winning redevelopment, the theatre welcomed 523,219 paying visitors making the venue the most popular single theatre in the UK.


In addition to its 1,850-seat main auditorium, Birmingham Hippodrome also houses a 200-seat studio space, The Patrick Centre. Home to DanceXchange, The Patrick Centre presents performance and dance as well as conference and hospitality events.


Birmingham Hippodrome has two award-winning restaurants, The Circle Restaurant and Stageside. The Circle provides the best in a la carte dining with a seasonal menu and local produce in a theatrical setting located within the theatre on the Front Circle Level. Stageside is a bar-bistro located opposite stage door with easy access to the theatre and the best in gastro cuisine.
