The Old Rep is thrilled to announce that it has a new patron, Olivier nominated actress Annette Badland. She is best known for her roles in Doctor Who, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, EastEnders, Cutting It and most recently Midsomer Murders.
Annette was born and raised in Edgbaston, Birmingham – she said of the theatre:
“The Old Rep was so important to me when I first fell in love with theatre and acting, so I’m utterly delighted, surprised and honoured to be a patron. It is really important to me as it is my home town and my beginnings”.
Alongside The Old Rep patrons Brian Cox, Toyah Willcox, Brian Blessed and June Brown – Annette has been dedicated a seat in the auditorium (Stalls, Row F Seat 7) that reads:
“Whatever you can do, or dream you can, begin it”.
